Abbott Orders Texas National Guard To Help With Coronavirus Response

Texas Governor Greg Abbott is ordering the Texas National Guard to help with coronavirus response.

Abbott announced on Friday that three joint task force brigades will operate ten general support units in Texas. The plan is for them to help the state’s health care structure by involvement with drive-through testing sites. Medical staff will also be with the Texas National Guard.
