Border Agents Dismantle Rio Grande Valley Narco Zoo, Send Animals To Zoos Around State

Rio Grande Valley Border Patrol agents have taken down a narco zoo. The statement issued Thursday by Deputy Chief Patrol Agent Austin Skero doesn’t reveal too many details about the operation nor does it provide the exact location of the zoo. It does say the zoo was in the “mid-valley.”

The statement also says a Bengal Tiger, some emus, llamas, porcupines and a kinkajou, which is also known as a honey bear and a cousin to the raccoon, have been turned over to zoos around Texas for proper care.
