Coronavirus Cases In Texas Jump Over 1000

The additional coronavirus cases in the Valley helped move Texas to a statewide total of more than 1,000 cases on Wednesday.  The latest count shows 1,004 people testing positive for COVID-19.  The disease has claimed the lives of 12 Texans.  The dangerous virus has now been reported in 83 counties – 18 more than on Tuesday.  Dallas County continues to record the highest number of coronavirus cases with 169.  It was just three weeks ago that Texas reported its first coronavirus case.  The figures are according to tallies by the Texas Tribune.
