DPS Troopers Staged At McAllen-Miller For Passenger Screenings


People flying into McAllen from nearly a dozen states and cities are being met by Texas DPS troopers armed with special forms to fill out.

The arriving passengers are having to self-isolate for 14 days under an executive order by Governor Greg Abbott, and they must provide their contact information which authorities will use to ensure the travelers are obeying the order.

The order is for people flying in from the states of Louisiana, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Washington, and California, and from the cities of Miami, Detroit, Atlanta, and Chicago.
