Starr County is reporting its first confirmed cases of COVID-19 – three of them, and one of them is 16 years old.
At a news conference Thursday, officials said the teenager was tested for coronavirus at a private clinic while the other two individuals were tested at the drive-thru facility set up at South Texas College. Officials say they believe one of the cases is travel-related. The sources of the other two are still being investigated.
All three of the individuals have been ordered to stay home, and the family of the 16-year-old has been told about special measures they must take to keep isolated from one another.
