Food Bank Of The RGV Needs Volunteers

The Food Bank of the Rio Grande Valley needs help serving the needs of the community.

The food bank is asking for more volunteers beginning today, as the Texas National Guard begins stepping away from helping staff the organization. Demand for food has more than doubled since the beginning of the pandemic, and more than two-dozen members of the Guard have been helping meet the food bank’s personnel needs.

More information about volunteering is available on the food bank’s website.
