Hidalgo County Investigates Thousands Of Dollars Worth Of Missing Equipment


Hidalgo County officials are investigating the case of thousands of dollars of missing equipment.

Yesterday a report in The Monitor says equipment went missing from Precinct 4 during the tenure of now former commissioner Joseph Palacios. More than one-hundred-40-thousand dollars worth of equipment including a backhoe attachment, a portable restroom and over 60 other items are on the missing list.

Hundreds of county employees are able to access equipment similar to that which is now missing.
