Investigation Continues On The Cause Of A Deadly Fire

ImageInvestigators this morning will be back picking through the debris of a burned-out mobile home, as they try to pinpoint what sparked a weekend fire that claimed the lives of a Brownsville man and his young grandson.  Officials identify the victims as 51-year-old Raymond Zaragoza and 21-month-old Leon EsquivelZaragoza was trying to carry his grandson out of the burning home Sunday morning, but apparently became disoriented, and the two never made it out.  Zaragoza was pronounced dead at the scene.  The child died at the hospital.  Investigators say there did not appear to be a working smoke detector in the north side mobile home.
