Mexican President: People Who Disappeared From Reynosa Bus Were Immigrants

The President of Mexico says the 19-people who were removed by armed men from a bus near Reynosa were immigrants. This week, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador made the statement adding only that the incident reported last Thursday is under investigation.

Multiple Mexican media sources say the bus was traveling along Highway 97 south of Reynosa when a group of armed men stopped it and kidnapped 19 of 41 passengers although President AMLO stopped short of calling it a kidnapping. No U.S. citizens are among the missing.
