KURV - OPERATION INTERDEPENDENCE 2009

 News/Talk 710 KURV and IBC Bank invite you to participate in this year's Operation Interdependence by supporting our military with care packages from home.
We will be collecting care packages for our heroes serving over seas... Show you care for our troops with the everday items we use and take for granted.
ITEMS NEEDED:
Beef Jerky*, Cameras (disposable), Camper style foods*, Candy*, CDs (Blank or Music), Chapstick*, Crackers* (PNB, Cheese, etc.), Dental floss*, Dried Fruit*, Facial Tissues, Fast food Condiment packets*, Flashlights, Foot Powder (travel size), Girl Scout cookies*, Gum*, Hand Sanitizer (travel size), Holiday Specific Greeting Cards, Moist Wipes, Nerf toys (very small footballs, etc.), Nuts/Seeds*, Odor Eaters (for boots), Pencils/Pens, Personal messages, Phone cards, Playing cards, Powdered drink mix* (non-alcoholic), Razors, Sardines*, Sheets of stationery, Snacks* (cookies, granola bars, etc.), Tea Bags and Coffee Packets*, Toiletries (travel sizes), Toothbrushes, Toothpaste* (travel size), Trail Mix*, Travel games, Travel mugs, Tuna snack kits*, Vienna Sausages*
Drop off your care packages today at IBC Bank, CopyZone, Valley Insurance Providers, Harlingen Area Teachers Credit Union or the 710 KURV studios located at 1201 N. Jackson Rd, Suite 900, in McAllen.

Please note that all food items (denoted with an *) must be manufactured sealed. Items that are determined unacceptable by the inspectors will be discarded and not returned. Any suspicious items will be removed. Know the source of all your donated items. The coordinator is accountable for all items mailed using the Federal Post Office system and all Federal Postal Regulations will apply.

Brownsville
Brownsville Sports Park - off Merryman Road from 1pm-3pm.
McAllen
S. 10th Street @ Rio Grande Speedway from 5pm-6:30pm.
Harlingen
White Wings Stadium in Fair Park from 5pm-9pm.
