Police Shoot, Kill Knife-Wielding Man In Edinburg


Texas Rangers are investigating the circumstances that led to Edinburg police shooting and killing a man Wednesday night.

Officers had responded to the 2900 block of North Pablo Street on a report of a man with a knife and making threats. It’s not clear yet what took place after officers arrived, but the incident ended with the man being shot and killed.

Texas Rangers are looking into whether the officers were justified in using deadly force.
