San Antonio, Bexar County Issue Stay-At-Home Order

Residents of San Antonio and Bexar County will be under a stay-home order as of midnight Tuesday night. Mayor Ron Nirenberg and County Judge Nelson Wolff issued the order on Monday for residents to stay at home and for non-essential businesses to close in order to slow the spread of the coronavirus.

Residents may leave home for job duties and crucial errands. Grocery stores, drugstores, gas stations, and other essential businesses will stay open, but restaurants will be limited to delivery and takeout. The order takes effect at 11:59 p.m. and will be in effect until April 9th unless it’s extended.
