Some Valley Border Agents Now In Eagle Pass To Help With Caravaners

0

The arrival this week of an immigrant caravan to Piedras Negras in Coahuila is drawing border patrol resources away from the Valley.

Several Valley agents are in Eagle Pass in anticipation of when several thousand immigrants will begin to request asylum.

Customs and Border Protection officials advise the public that the drain in resources is causing delays in ports of entry such as the McAllen-Hidalgo International Bridge and the Anzalduas International Bridge.
