South Texas Health System is suspending all patient visitations as part of a new policy aimed at keeping the coronavirus out of their hospitals and other facilities.
As of now, all visitors are subject to screening. You will be asked about your travel history and anyone who has traveled to where there’s a coronavirus outbreak will not be allowed into any facility.
Also, if you’ve had contact with someone who has flu-like symptoms, you won’t be allowed in. In addition, emergency room patients are limited to one visitor. Certain exceptions will be made for end-of-life and pediatric patients.
