U.S. State Department Keeping Tabs On Los Indios International Bridge Shootout Probe


The U.S. State Department is keeping a close eye on a Mexican investigation after a person was killed on the Los Indios International Bridge.

The shootout happened just south enough to be on the Mexican side of the bridge last Thursday. U.S. citizen Rocío Alderete died from gunshot wounds and several other people were also hit and injured.

Police officials in Tamaulipas are investigating the shooting.
