2 Texas Military Bases Could Help House Immigrant Kids

Two U.S. military bases in Texas could be used to temporarily house unaccompanied immigrant kids.

On Tuesday, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services requested assistance from the Department of Defense to use two bases, Fort Bliss in El Paso and Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland.

Tuesday, DOD spokesperson John Kirby said the HHS request is still being evaluated.
