Over 200 Afghans have been evacuated to the U.S. to escape the Taliban. The first flight evacuating Afghan interpreters and others who worked with U.S. forces has landed at Washington Dulles International Airport. The group includes 57 children and 15 babies.

Afghans who worked with Americans fear reprisals by the Taliban against themselves and their families. The Biden administration says about 750 Afghans have been approved to enter the U.S. along with about 17-hundred family members.
