A Hidalgo County man is facing murder charges after the death of his father. Deputies were called to a home in San Carlos on April 15th to check on an elderly man who was allegedly assaulted by his son.
Eighty-six-year-old Francisco Coronado was hospitalized and died last Friday. Francisco Coronado, Junior was arrested on April 16th and initially charged with injuring an elderly or disabled person.
The 42-year-old was charged with murder yesterday and his bond was set at one-million dollars.
