E. Coli Discovered In Floor Of Edinburg Elementary School

Part of an Edinburg elementary school is being closed for extensive cleaning and restoration. Classes at Canterbury Elementary were canceled yesterday after trace amounts of E. coli were found in several classrooms.

The school district had the floors tested after recent flooding caused a sewage overflow at the school. Some classes will still be held at the school, though more than 260 students will be relocated to Freddy Gonzalez Elementary until the end of the school year.
