US Measles Cases Top 1,000, More Than 700 In Texas

There are now more than a thousand confirmed cases of measles in the US since an outbreak started in Texas in January. It’s only the second time in 30 years there have been that many cases.

West Texas is still ground zero of the outbreak, with more than 700 cases reported, according to the Centers for Disease Control. Three patients have died, including two children.
