By Amazon is building a new delivery station in Brownsville. Amazon bought 13 acres on FM-511 last month but did not announce plans for the property until yesterday.
The company has already begun clearing land for the 62-thousand square-foot facility. Brownsville officials praised the announcement, saying it shows that the city is emerging as an economic powerhouse in South Texas.
