The Trump administration’s “self-deportation” flights are underway with the departure of dozens of illegal immigrants from Houston on Monday.

The Department of Homeland Security offers a thousand dollars and a free flight to any illegal willing to return to his home country. Monday’s charter flight took 38 people to Honduras and 26 to Colombia.

The self-deportation program is unrelated to arrests and deportations being carried out by ICE.
