By Another Rio Grande Valley school superintendent is being temporarily removed from his position.
The Edinburg school district board placed Superintendent Mario Salinas on paid administrative leave during a special meeting yesterday. No reason for the five-day suspension was announced.
Salinas was placed on leave one day after the Mercedes ISD board put Superintendent Benjamin Clinton on paid leave following a DWI arrest.
