By The Brownsville school board has fired a teacher accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a student. The decision to fire Julio Ricardo Trujillo was made during a special meeting of the school board held on Tuesday night.
Trujillo was arrested in Cameron County last week. Trujillo was a criminal justice teacher and head girls basketball coach at Rivera Early College High School at the time of his arrest.
