A woman is being accused of kicking a federal agent during an ICE raid in San Benito last week. Thirty-seven-year-old Maria Isabel Cruz-Salas was charged with assaulting a federal officer after allegedly kicking the agent in the face.
The Mexican woman was taken into custody at Taqueria El Mante during a worksite immigration inspection. She’s scheduled to be in court for a hearing on Wednesday.
