Starbase Commission Approves Gates To Prevent Visitor Access

Starbase is approving the construction of gates to keep visitors out of some parts of the city. The city commission approved SpaceX’s request for gates on four city streets yesterday.

The requests said the gates were meant to enhance security and create a sense of community for residents while keeping out unwanted visitors. The city manager said public safety agencies, delivery drivers and others who need access will be given codes to the gates.
