A Harlingen doctor has entered the race for the 15th District congressional seat. Dr. Ada Cuellar plans to run for the Democratic nomination to face Republican Congresswoman Monica De La Cruz.
Cuellar says all Americans deserve access to quality health care, a good education and a strong economy. She’s the first Democrat to announce a challenge to De La Cruz, who is currently serving her second term in the House of Representatives.
