A new report says Austin is one of four Texas cities on the list of the top places to live in the US in terms of quality of life.
US News & World Report’s annual “Best Places to Live” considers factors such as education, health care, crime, air quality, and risk of natural disasters. Austin came in 13th on the list, leading Houston at 15th, Dallas at 20th, and McAllen at 23rd.
Massachusetts had six cities on the list, more than any other state. Texas and Maryland were tied at four cities each.
