Two men are pleading guilty to murder in the 2023 shooting death of a teenager in Cameron County.
Authorities say Julian Casarez and Alberto Sanchez were members of a “criminal enterprise” behind the fatal shooting of 16-year-old Fernando Martinez at an apartment complex in Santa Rosa.
Police said Martinez was targeted by the suspects for selling drugs. Casarez and Sanchez will be sentenced later this month.
