U.S. Customs and Border Protection is teaming up with the Texas Department of Public Safety for an effort to stop the smuggling of illegal prescription drugs.

The agencies say travelers should present their valid prescriptions to border inspectors, while also declaring all medications and keeping those drugs in their original labeled containers.
