A New York man visiting Puerto Rico for a Bad Bunny concert is dead after being struck by a stray bullet.
Authorities say Kevin Mares, a veterinary technician, was caught in nightclub gunfire hours after Saturday night’s Bad Bunny show. His longtime girlfriend had returned to their hotel before the shooting.
Mares’ mother says he had planned to propose this fall. She is working to bring his body back to New York for a funeral, with a GoFundMe seeking 23-thousand dollars to cover the costs.
