It has been more than one-month since the deadly July Fourth flooding in the Texas Hill Country and huge piles of debris still remain.

Kerr County officials initially though of burning it but that’s now been ruled out. Kerr County Commissioner Don Harris says it will be quicker to grind the vegetation into sawdust and have it shipped out.

There have also been calls to drain at least one flood-swollen lake to help in the search for individuals still missing after the floods.
