A man has been arrested for allegedly selling illegally-produced modems in Hidalgo County.

Investigators reportedly seized more than 50 illegally cloned modems after a months-long joint investigation by Spectrum and the county sheriff’s office.

Fifty-one-year-old Joel Americo Garza, Junior of McAllen was arrested as part of the investigation. The sheriff’s office says more arrests are expected as the investigation continues.
