Multiple people are facing charges after an illegal gambling bust in San Benito.
Police were called to the two-thousand block of East Expressway 83 on Wednesday night to investigate a possible robbery in progress. Investigators found no signs of a robbery, but did discover illegal slot machines operating on the property.
More than 30 people were cited for illegal gambling, while six others were arrested and charged with promoting gambling and engaging in organized crime.
