Harlingen Mayor Norma Sepulveda will not have an opponent when she runs for reelection in November. No one filed to run against Sepulveda before Monday’s election filing deadline.
The races for two city commission seats will be more competitive, with District Two Commissioner Daniel Lopez set to face former Commissioner Frank Puente.
There will be a three-way race for the District One seat, with former Commissioner Richard Uribe running against John Lane and Delia Cavazos Gamez.
