The University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley is starting its first football season on a winning note. More than 12-thousand people watched the Vaqueros beat Sul Ross State 66-0 on Saturday.
UTRGV quarterback Eddie Lee Marburger threw for 365 yards and five touchdowns in his debut. The Vaqueros will go on the road to take on Prairie View A&M this Saturday.
