Federal authorities say that nearly 15-hundred pounds of suspected meth was seized at a South Texas international bridge this week.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection says the drugs were found Tuesday during a routine inspection of a truck hauling broccoli.

Inspectors at the Pharr International Bridge removed nearly 500 packages from the roof of the truck. Officials believe the drugs would have a street value of more than 13-million dollars.
