The City of Mission is breaking ground for a new Hike and Bike Trail project. Hidalgo County Commissioner Eddie Cantu joined other local leaders for a ceremony to kick off construction for two segments of the Recreational Trails Connectivity Project.
The trail segments will eventually connect the Mission Trails at Los Ebanos Road to Taylor Road in Mission. The 15-mile-long trail should be completed early next year.
