Three Arrested In Raid On Suspected Human Smuggling Operation

Three people face charges following a raid on an East Side home suspected of harboring a human smuggling operation. Bexar County deputies raided Diana Salazar’s Hays Street home on Saturday at the end of an investigation.

Deputies arrested Salazar in a traffic stop. Her passenger, Victorino Gonzalez-Ramirez, tried to run but was arrested. Kassandra Sias was arrested in a separate traffic stop with a suspected illegal immigrant in the car.

Salazar and Sias are charged with human smuggling. Gonzalez-Ramirez is out on bond and faces a charge of evading arrest.
