More than two-dozen missing kids have been saved as part of a collaboration between the San Antonio Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Service. They said that many of those found over the summer were victims of human trafficking.
The kids ranged in age from 12 to 17 years old. “Operation Lightning Bug,” also included nine arrests. Chief William McManus says that “every survivor taken out of harm’s way matters.”
