By The City of Alamo is explaining why its water tower lost thousands of gallons of water Tuesday. City officials say the water loss was caused by a meter failure that prevented the operator from knowing the tower was full. This caused it to overflow and spill out about six-thousand-gallons of water. The meter is being repaired.
