A man is in critical condition after he was shot by an Edinburg police officer. Authorities were called to the parking lot of a Stripes convenience store at University Drive and Sugar Road Tuesday for reports of a man acting erratically while holding two knives.
The department said the man was shot after he refused orders to drop the knives and tried to enter the store. An investigation is underway.
