A man fatally shot himself outside of Brownsville Police Headquarters on Tuesday.
Authorities say 38-year-old Ernesto Tagal fired a gunshot at a woman who arrived at the building to make a report then turned the gun on himself.
Officers said the woman Tagal intended to shoot was his wife. The woman was not harmed.
