A McAllen City Commissioner’s home was searched by federal agents on Thursday. ICE and Homeland Security Investigations executed a search warrant at the home of Commissioner Rudy Castillo.
The agency has yet to give a reason for the investigation, only stating that they are being assisted by “federal, state, and local partners.” Castillo has served on the McAllen City Commission since 2022.
