The San Antonio International Airport is on the receiving end of a 12.6-billion-grant from the Federal Aviation Administration. The grant will fund elements of the new billion-dollar terminal including relocation of seven overnight aircraft parking spots, airfield drainage, and an environmental impact statement.

The Texas Department of Transportation also awarded more than a million dollars to Stinson Municipal Airport to support a runway rehabilitation project.
