State Attorney General Ken Paxton is announcing undercover investigations of “left-wing political violence” in Texas.

Paxton issued a press release that referred to the recent attack on a Dallas Immigration and Customs field office, and a July 4th shooting at an Alvarado ICE detention center, as reasons for the investigations. He also pointed to last month’s assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

Paxton said he’s directed his office to “identify, investigate, and infiltrate these leftist terror cells.”
