Senators have left Washington DC without a deal to end the government shutdown, which will now reach the two week mark. Bills from both parties were denied Thursday.

The GOP stopgap bill already has been approved by the House. It’s the seventh time that both measures have been turned away. Tuesday will mark two weeks since the government has been shut down, with military members likely to miss their first paycheck in the coming days.
