A woman is dead after a weekend crash in La Feria. The Texas Department of Public Safety says 30-year-old Miranda Mireles died on Saturday morning on FM-2566 north of Business 83.
Investigators say Mireles disregarded a stop sign, causing her vehicle to go airborne at a rail crossing. Her vehicle reportedly hit a metal sign before coming to a stop. Mirales died from her injuries after she was taken to the hospital.
