Texas public school students are being asked to help pay for a half-a-billion dollar renovation of the Alamo.
The Shrine of Texas Liberty launched the “History Heroes” program, asking schools to raise funds. This comes as the State Board of Education looks to make changes to history classes. There’s a push to put more of an emphasis on American exceptionalism.
