A pedestrian is recovering after being hit by an elderly driver in Pharr. Police say the 95-year-old driver hit the 54-year-old pedestrian on Friday morning near the intersection of Dicker Road and St. Marie Drive.

The pedestrian was hit by a second vehicle after falling onto the street. Police say the elderly driver is cooperating with the investigation and no charges are currently pending.
